Let’s be real: This isn't Brooklyn talking; this is Nicola Peltz talking. The language in that statement—'transactional relationships,' 'intellectual property'—is way too smart for Brooklyn. This is the Peltz family (billionaires) vs. the Beckham family (millionaires). It’s a proxy war. Nicola is isolating him from his family to secure her control. We are watching a slow-motion car crash, and Brooklyn is just the passenger.

Everyone is mocking Brooklyn, but read the statement. He claims they tried to force him to sign away the rights to his own name before his wedding. That is dark. That is 'Britney Spears Conservatorship' energy. David and Victoria have cultivated this image of the 'Perfect Family' for decades, but it sounds like they are running a corporation, not a home. If your parents tried to trademark your identity to sell perfume, you’d be angry too. He’s breaking the cycle.

Brooklyn Beckham posting a manifesto about his 'trauma' is the most tone-deaf thing I've seen in 2026. You are a 26-year-old with zero talent who has failed at photography, cooking, and football, yet you are worth millions because of the name you are trashing. Accusing David and Victoria of treating you like a 'brand' is rich coming from a guy selling $20 hot sauce solely because of his last name. This isn't 'speaking your truth'; it’s a temper tantrum because Daddy cut off the allowance.

It is peak 2026 that on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the #1 trending topic isn't voting rights or economic justice—it's a pastor's wife's dress. The internet losing its mind over Karri Bryant's 'nude illusion' gown at the Mayor's Ball is so unserious. We are debating 'respectability politics' while actual civil rights protections are being rolled back. Dr. King didn't die so we could police women's bodies on Instagram. Focus on the mission, not the mesh.

For the first time, NERC actually seems serious about punishing DisCos. They just fined 8 DisCos over ₦600 million for violating billing caps. This is the energy we need. For years, these companies acted like they were untouchable gods. If NERC keeps hitting their pockets every time they overbill an unmetered customer, they will be forced to roll out meters faster. Don't just complain on Twitter; report them to NERC. The sanctions are working.

We keep screaming about 'Crazy Bills,' but we ignore the root cause: The subsidy is eating the entire sector alive. The government paid ₦458 billion in electricity subsidies in just three months, and we still don't have stable power. Why? Because we are paying for inefficiency. The DisCos don't care about metering you because 'estimated billing' guarantees them revenue whether they supply power or not. Until we kill the estimated billing regime effectively—not just on paper—the grid will never improve.

The 'Estimated Billing' system is the biggest legalized fraud in Nigeria. NERC released the January 2026 capping order to protect unmetered customers, but the DisCos are ignoring it completely. I just saw a bill for ₦85,000 for a 2-bedroom flat that had light for maybe 4 days this month. They are literally billing us for the darkness. If you don't have a prepaid meter in 2026, you aren't a customer; you are a hostage. We need to start suing these DisCos individually for violating the NERC cap.

Regardless of who is 'right,' this is a sign of how broken our immigration system has become. We have militarized agencies doing routine checks, and citizens are terrified. Renee Nicole Good’s death wasn't just a random event; it was the result of high-tension policies meeting a panicked civilian. No family should have to identify their daughter from a viral video. It’s a dark day for Minneapolis.

People are jumping to conclusions before the facts are out. If an ICE agent tells you to step out of the vehicle and you try to run them over, they have every right to defend themselves. A car is a deadly weapon. It’s a tragedy that she died, but you cannot disobey federal agents and expect zero consequences. The media is trying to turn this into another riot before the investigation is even finished. Let the legal process work.

The story about Renee Nicole Good is absolutely sickening. Witnesses are saying she was dragged out of her car and then denied medical help while she bled out on the street? That isn't law enforcement; that is an execution. ICE agents are acting like cowboys with zero accountability. She was a poet, a mother, and a caregiver—not a cartel boss. The 'she used her car as a weapon' excuse is the standard line they use every time they panic and shoot someone. We need the bodycam footage released now.
