The success of this movie depends entirely on the chemistry between Milo and Teagan. Tangled is the best Disney romance because the banter is top-tier. I haven't seen them interact before, so I'm nervous. Teagan was super serious in Titans. Can she do the bubbly, high-energy Rapunzel? Casting is only half the battle; if they don't have that spark, the movie dies.

Exactly. The animation did so much heavy lifting for their chemistry. Recreating the 'lantern scene' in live action without it looking cringe is going to be the hardest challenge of 2026.
