Everyone needs to calm down and remember that Giannis and Jokic were also drafted late and nobody thought they would be stars. Is nepotism involved? Obviously. But Bronny actually has a high defensive IQ and passes well. He isn't there to be a scorer; he is there to be a role player. If he can develop a consistent corner three and play elite defense, he belongs in the league. Let's judge him after two full seasons of professional training rather than writing him off before he plays a real game.

The media circus around this kid is going to destroy the Lakers' chemistry. How are you supposed to coach a team when one rookie is untouchable because his dad runs the franchise? Every mistake Bronny makes will be magnified, and every time he gets minutes over a better player, the locker room resentment is going to build. It’s not fair to the kid either—he is being set up to fail on the biggest stage imaginable just to satisfy LeBron's ego trip. He needed two more years in college to actually develop.

It is genuinely insulting to every G-League grinder who has been working their entire life for a shot at the NBA. We are watching a 6-foot-1 guard who averaged 4 points in college get a guaranteed roster spot just because his dad is the King. If his last name was 'Smith,' he would be working at a car dealership right now, not sitting on an NBA bench. It devalues the league when roster spots are treated like 'Bring Your Kid to Work' day gifts. LeBron has earned his legacy, but Bronny hasn't earned this.
