Before coming to Northern Nigeria, I assumed everyone from the North was Hausa. That was the common perception I had.
Now I know better. The North is home to many diverse ethnic groups, including the Gbagi, Nupe, Kamuku, and many others. It's been a beautiful reminder that there's so much more to learn about the rich cultural diversity of Nigeria.
