1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Peanion ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access.
  • Not register under a false identity or impersonate any person or entity.

Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use Peanion. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the approval of a parent or guardian.

3. User Content, Editing & Deletion

Ownership & License: You retain ownership of the text, images, and opinions ("Content") you post. However, by posting, you grant Peanion a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute your Content.

Content Integrity (Editing)

To preserve the context of discussions and ratings, you cannot edit an Opinion or Reply once it has received interaction (reactions, likes, or replies) from another user. You acknowledge that your typos or errors may remain visible if the community has already engaged with the content.

Deletion & Anonymization

Once your Content has been reacted to or replied to by others, it becomes part of the public record of Peanion. You cannot permanently delete such Content.

If you choose to "delete" interactive content, it will be converted to "Incognito Mode". Your name, handle, and profile image will be dissociated from the post, labeling it as "Anonymous User," but the text and media will remain visible to preserve the context for other users.

4. Review & Opinion Guidelines

As a platform that hosts opinions and reviews, integrity is paramount. You agree to the following when rating businesses or entities:

  • First-Hand Experience: Your opinions must be based on your own genuine, first-hand experience with the entity.
  • No Conflicts of Interest: You may not review your own business, your employer, or competitors to manipulate ratings.
  • Accuracy: You must not make false statements of fact. Opinions are protected, but defamatory lies are not.
  • No Compensation: You must not accept payment or goods in exchange for writing a positive or negative opinion.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

🚫 Harassment

Stalking, threatening, or harassing other users.

🚫 Hate Speech

Content promoting violence or hatred against individuals based on race, ethnicity, religion, or gender.

🚫 Spam

Posting repetitive comments, unauthorized advertising, or automated scripts.

🚫 Illegal Acts

Violating applicable laws, including copyright infringement.

6. Termination & Moderation

Peanion reserves the right, but not the obligation, to monitor and review Content. We may remove or disable access to any Content for any reason, including Content that violates these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

7. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". PEANION DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEANION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
